Ok guys, Saturday, Febuary 24th from 10-6

"THIRDGEN DAY AT ARD!"

Thirdgen Mod/ Meet/ Dyno Day/ Swap Meet/ Bar-b-que!

Owen
ARD--Advanced Racing Dynamics
5023 Addicks Satsuma rd, Suite b,
Houston, Texas, 77084
832-593-9140

From I-10 and highway 6, go north past Keith Harrow till you reach Addicks Satsuma. Take a right turn and go about 100 yards down, and you will see the sign and it is located on the left in a business park.

Please bring stuff for the meet day barbque and yall can use our big pit up here. Anyone who wants to dyno, the dyno will be open for yall. Didnt really want to set it up as a dyno only deal so if most the people want to come and hang out and talk or fiddle with their cars they can do so. I will start a food thread for this event. Afterwards maybe we could cruise somewhere?

Suggestions?

Where's Barry been? I don't think I've seen him post in a while and I know he likes going up there, infact he was probably at ARD more than me when my car was there.

I've PM'd Barry as well and not heard anything. I'm interested in some of the stuff he has for sale.

I'll be by for a couple of hours as well. Shame I won't have the TPI motor I've just bought installed in time. Also picked up a posi carrier today.

Just checked my calendar, & I predict the weather will be
absolutely miserable. How, you may ask, do I know this?

Simple...

Trail Ride & Rodeo Cook-Off week-end. Can anyone remember
the last time these events had good weather?

Oh well -- (anybody but wheelspin) fire up the grill.

Count me in!

I'll get me some directions and should be able to fumble my way there.

Guess I'm the honorary south central board guy cause I'm displaced from the Chicago board.

I'll give zane a heads up too and see if he is going.

later

While Otto's is fine with me (specially since it's 5 minutes from home), it is a pretty long "cruise" from ARD to Otto's.

Ard is off Hwy 6 between 10 and 290.

Otto's is out past 59S and Beltway 8.

How many people will actually want to make that cruise?

And NO, I do not have any better suggestions for locations to cruise to.

how about we chose a cruise location the day of the meet, then lets cruise out at5 or 5:30 or so to whereever the group decides. I know we could cruise down 6 and cut down 59 to ottos or we could cruise to the westheimer hooters

Ard to Otto's

I'm not trying to mess up any plans, just want to make sure if plan a cruise, that more than 2 or 3 will participate.

I'm not even sure if I can do a cruise to Otto's, if I do, probably won't be able to stay very long there.. I either need to go to ARD and then go home or just meet up at Otto's--not sure if I can get away for more than a few hours at best! Gotta a lot stuff going on right now--work and personal

I plan on coming by for a bit. Dont really need to dyno since I haven't done anything. I sure would like to get this electrical drain figured out, it is still going on, after a few days the battery goes dead.

My girlfriend from Peru is here and wants to come, so bring your wives, girlfriends, lovers, whatever. She can verify my 12.78 at SEaly recently. It was cold!!!, had to kick her out of the car to make the run,

Well, I don't want to be the cause of a measly "Cruise". I'm OK with deciding where to go when everyone who shows up is there to vote. But (scenery aside) I'm tired of weak food and poor service, so I don't think that Hooters will be getting my vote.

On another subject...I'm toying with the idea of swapping on a carb I have (Holley 830) and seeing if my dyno number are effected much.

I'm also considering a valve lift check/adjustment and a compression test...if there is time. I'll probably have to decide on one of these three things since there probably will not be time for more.

So who else has stuff they want to do while we are at ARD and what is the stuff?
