Any Thirdgens south of Dallas, namely in Midlothian-Waxahachie-Ennis. I will be getting my car legal again soon and looking for some thirdgen brothas on 287 to hang out with and maybe start a weekly meet. Would even be looking for guys with pony cars in this region just hang out with whatever make or model. I miss the culture and can't really go to Arlington or Dallas every week anymore.

Cool I'm glad to see I'm not alone. Seems like everyone is in to motorcycles around here. What day/location would be good for y'all for a meet? I still have some work to do on my car b4 I drive it anywhere, but I'll show up in my '06 Ram for now.

 

Well I replaced my EGR today, so I guess I'm one step closer to having it on the road again. That round port looks to be 30% clogged on the bottom...could have something to do with why the car was running like crap b4. The other part of that was probably because the hard plastic vacuum? line and the wire that connects to it were both cut in the same spot. Just need to get some vacuum line to reconnect it and I can put it all back together.

 

To bad y'all are just a little too far for me. I'm in Grand Prairie.

 

GP isn't too far for me. I have a couple of LS1 buddies in south arlington that I hang out with when I can. Maybe we can get together sometime. If we go to Kennedale I will definetly let you know.

 

Oh I go out to Kennedale quite a bit on Thursdays again. I usually don't run my car because it's slow but I go to hang out.

 

That's alright bro...I use to go out there every thursday and run my 10.7-11.0s non-stop. Once I've got my car legal again I will be trying to get the gang back together and out there weekly like we use to. Hoping to run much better times next time out there by the way.

 

Yeah I run 10.4's in with my LO3. How long til you think you are going to have your car legal again?

 

It will only be a week or two til its up and running, but it could be a couple months b4 it inspected and registered again. Planning on doing headers, y pipe, and cat b4 it gets inspected. This all hinges on selling my old Talon so I have the cash to do the exhaust. It has a spun main bearing in case anyone was interested. But I will be getting it all done asap. Got the majority of the work done on it this past Saturday so I'm getting excited again.

I live in S. Arlington by Mansfield. 287 Its right by me. building a 305 so the v6 is still in.
