There used to be meets every Friday at Cruiser's Car Wash in Van Nuys off Tampa and Nordhoff, I think.

I dont think there are enough of us in your area though. We meet every other month in Torrance at Ricky and Ronnie's and that seems to work out the best.

Hey gang.

Yup. We still meet up in the valley every Friday night. Our mix has grown unfortuatnly right now, we only have a few 3rd gens. Alex (82firebirdta) and Gary who's doing a pretty radical build in a 91 IROC. I have an 87 TA in which I'm working on getting back on the road. No really!! Sending you a PM Kevin, got a question for ya!

Check this out if interested in meeting up. We might be a drive from you guys but we normally have cars from Torrance, Thousand Oaks to Santa Clarita and from Pomona/Chino on any given night.

Hey Daniel,
Is Cruiser's back in full-swing or is it just the GME guys hanging out? A buddy of mine had said that the crowd from Flames has been moving back over to Cruiser's.

Its just us at Cruisers. I think the "crowed" moved from Cruisers to Flames back in 2004? We've owned Cruisers ever since. LOL.

About a year ago, Cruisers revamped the "Diner" inside and called it 818 Cafe. They tried to make Cruisers "Cruisers" (like before) again but it died out only after a few weeks as the Cafe didnt have the proper permits, etc, etc. They closed it down temporary and the time it was resovled I think it was too little too late. The owners had great plans too: Bands, DJs, extra lighting, etc, etc. We were pretty excited but it never panned out.

I keep hearing mixed things about the "Flames" meets. They start really early and fade out fast - around 8pm. The actual meet seems to fade in and out but its consistent.

I've stopped advertising our meets at Cruisers a while ago as it really is only GME. I mean, everyone is welcome but if you really want a big "Cruise in Meet" Bobs Big Boy is the best. We all meet up at about 9pm and go head out for foods. Its nice having a place just for our club, then actually rolling into the car meets (like Bobs, etc.). That way we are not fighting for space and parking.

Are you in Woodland Hills as per your avatar? You will have to roll out one time to Cruisers. Well, one night when I'm out and perhaps when we get Alex up here. That way you will know people

Not to pick on you, but IROC's were from 85-90 only. 82-84 and 91-92 were Z28's only. Also, 85-87 you could get a Z28 or an IROC.
