only 2 cars, and 3 guys at the meet? me and esc made it out, with drinks and food to boot

 

That sux, but I am not suprised. This board has slowed down alot in the last year. I would have made it if I didn't have to work every weekend.

 

Well, my junk was acting like sheeot with the oil ressure issue, so i will be damned if i am going to go look at a bunch of other third gens and just be that much more pissed the new engine is messed up.

 

Work, what else? Weekends during the summer are a busy time for me.

Yeah I didn't make it either. Had a big family reunion on Thursday/Friday and just didn't get back in time. Also have an imobilised truck in front of the camaro and no way to move it out of the way.

I wasn't expecting a BIG turnout or anything...but that was pathetic.

The way I see it, there isn't much hope for a group that can't even get 3 cars together once every 3 months.

 

We seem to do better with the end of year annual shows....

I was entertaining the thought of making the meet, but I've been sick as a dog for the last 4 to 5 days and also had prior obligations.....

 

i had work and out of gas as well. It's a long drive too

 

sick most this past week, then sat. had a company picnic, then had Arrowfest on Sunday which halfway through I get one of my world famous migraines, which almost put me in the hospital, I didn't even get to sip my friggin beer or enjoy their ultimate nachos dam it. but i still stood through the shows, cause i was too weak to drive. So I wouldn't have been much company if would have come.

 

I had thought of coming but I had family issues. I'll be sure to try and make it next time.

Ya'll don't know me but I'll make the next one close to Spring and MAYBE one in Houston. Just don't like driving down there.

 

I am new to the board and 3rd gens. I have a 89 Trans Am that I just bought it needs alot of work but I love it. The car's title is from Illinois and it has to pass inspection down here first. Little money lot of time. Can anyone here help in person in Pasadena,TX lot of questions? When she is running and legal I would love to show up for meets and stuff. Thanks.

 

Yea i was the other guy that showed with out my car it still needs alot of work but i still showed up cuase it was close by. I think its all in the planning and involvment of people for these kinda things to really get good turnouts for meets
