Good buy?

I just today bought my first 3rd gen. I've had several old cars over the years but always wanted a Camaro or Firebird. Well, yesterday I came across a 1989 Firebird Formula with the ws6 package and a 5 speed. Had 67k on it. The paint could use some touching up on the roof and fenders. Everything's original on it as far as I can tell. Drove nicely. I was impressed with the features it had for a 20 year old car. I didnt know they made CD players back then! I talked him from 3800 to 3500 cash and drove it home. What do these usually go for? Oh, it also has a 9 bolt rear. Never seen one of those before..
