got my GTA repainted
I finally got around to getting the whole car repainted. Replaced the spoiler with a fiberglass one, had all the wheels refinished when I put new tires on a few weeks ago, and also had the headliner redone.
here are a couple pics, as well as links to the whole albums (both regular grade, and also some from a higher res camera). note: i took pics from all angles of the car with it having the sun at different angles, and have not yet removed the bad ones, so there are like 130.

Take it back. They put the 'birds in the wrong place on the quarter panels behind the windows. Make them move them to the correct spot.
Other than that, it looks like a great paint job!
Did they get the Drivers side "right" but the Passenger side wrong? Passenger side looks higher & even the Drivers side look higher than the OEM location.

actually, i think the springs are original... i bet if i put new OEM spec springs on it, it would actually lift the car!
actually, pass side is higher by 0.5" and more in by 0.5"
hard to measure exactly, but doing the best i could, the pass side is about 5" from the bottom of the bird to the bottom of the sail panel and 3.5" from the edge of the sail panel to the tip of the wing. the drivers side is about 4.5" up and 3" in.

Re: got my GTA repainted
I actually believe GM originally should have had the birds on the 3rd gen sail panels dead center in the middle like they did on the 2nd gens, it looks even to me and the way they placed them lower and to closer to the window, makes me always think their offset and wrong in my eyes even though that's how the factory did it.

Re: got my GTA repainted
The 'bird decals were more centered than the correct location for the GTA 'bird emblems. Very low & forward. No idea why the GTA emblems weren't centered. Specs are 3 3/4" back from the window & 15 1/4" up from the body side molding. I measured from the side molding because it is more of a standard measuring point than from the body line. Too many variables to be measured from there.
