I would like to see another gathering in Houston like we had a few months ago up at Sonic Drivein on 1960. Ive done some things to my car and would like to talk to others about what they have been doing. Anybody up for it?

I swapped in an LT1 cam in my L03... plus I wanna do other things. Deffinitely looking forward to the next gathering.

 

I was wondering when the next gathering was gonna be. I rebuild my 350 TPI and now I'm working on putting in a good sound system. I should be done in a couple of days w/ the sound system.

 

So whats the plan?

 

Well Im usually a follower in this but if nobody else wants to organize it Ill give it a try. I say we plan a gathering at place where we met before Sonic where they didn't turn the lights on. I think it is on Kuykendahl. I need someone to give me a contact number to organize the lights getting turned on. I say we meet weekend after next on Saturday night, April 14 around 7:30pm. Any body who wants to go chime in here and we'll have an idea how many are coming.

almost every weekend they are there, its unusual for them to not be open. I am sure the next time we have a gathering, they will be there.

I wont be available until late May as I have classes up until my last final on May the 7th. Anwhere after about May 10 I can make.

 

I really dont care when the next meeting is, as long as we have one after May 30.

Where is that one in HUmble? Ive been out to Pasadena a few times. There were some cool cars but a lot or ricers, I guess they have to have a place to go too. I really liked the one we had at Sonic because it was just thirdgens, plus you got to talk to everyone when we looked at each car in turn. I guess we could have one like that again now and then a bigger one around the first of June to accomodate the college crowd. What do you think?

Shoot, I forget the name of the stree right now. I went all the way around the betway south and you get off the Belltway I think just south of I10 and go east for about a couple of miles and its in a Krogers parking lot on the left. Some real nice cars. I went in th winter when it was cold, probably more people now.

I am also taking a 00 camaro to Fl, so it will be one of the last times that I will be able to drive my 'bird all summer !

I'll be lucky to have my car painted by the 17th or the 18th. I probably wont make that one.

 

anytime after May 11th works for me, Id love the meet up with a bunch of other thirdgens since Ive never taken it to any meets or anything. plus Im willing to drive pretty much anywhere in the state for a good meet, so it doesnt matter to me.

 

I'm game for 17-18 area. Basically anytime after the 9th.
