I am thinking about changing my 1970 camaro from leaf spring to coil spring. So I would like to get the spring mounts off of the rear frame and the arm mounts from a 3rd gen. If anyone has a car that needs to go to the scrap yard that I could cut this off let me know. Let me know how much you want also.

I'll also look to get this from a junkyard.

I'll be changing all drivetrain and harness and suspension from my firebird to the 70. Thinking about doing a 3rd gen dash/console setup but I'll have to find a Camaro dash as I can't put a firebird dash in it. Just ain't right. Using 3rd gen steering.

Body will be available later hopefully as a roller.

It will be missing most everything though. But most race cars are missing everything factory.

Back from N.O. last night and am sick with something. It may be next weekend before I can get over there. Do I need to bring a cutting torch? Saws-all? spot weld cutters? jacks? Dynamite?

 

It's on a lift, but I don't have any good cutting implements. I do have air pressure.

The firebird I have is a t-top. Most want hard top for racing.
