visual emissions

well the iroc just passed its last sniffer and i have one question about visual emissions i know they look for all original stock emissions equiment but would i fail if i were to have an electronic cutout behind the headers might seem like a retarded question but i dunno

Emmissions laws vary per county. If you are in the Mecklenburg or Wake areas, the requirements are much tougher. If you live in Meck or Wake areas, yes an electric cutout will fail you. If you live in a county where they will only check for safety only, you won't have to worry.

you will probably fall into the same restrictions that Meck Co residents do. I do to- I am in Union Co.

Find a 'good' shop.
