Im not sure if this is the correct section to put this under, if its not Mods feel free to move it.

I live in Jacksonville FL. Long story short, I came home today to a city ordinance warning. I have been working on my 83' TA replacing my headers, and in the process something happened to my Crossfire. I am no longer getting fuel to my throttle bodys. Not sure why. I work a part time job, and im in full time college, I dont have the resources or the time (especially now that i have 15 days or they will tow it) to figure out whats wrong. No i dont have a tag on it as i have not drivin it since the header job. I have a place in the backyard that I can move it, but it is not in "a fully enclosed garage" as they call it. It almost seems i was targeted because there are seveal cars all over that are in worse states that dont have tags, are torn apart, or are obviously abandoned that have not been warned.

I need to know what I can do, or if anyone can help me. I dont have much money and time at this point. This thing is my baby, and i have worked so hard and I dont want to lose this car over something as stupid as bad timing. If the crossfire had been fixed when i finished the headers this would have never happened.

If I cant figure out what to do in 10 days, I am seriously considering giving this to a friend... It is a 25th anni daytona and I will not let the city take it.

any family members local? Find someone on Craigslist with space to rent. If it is that important to you you can find some part time job to pay storage fees... Sorry, this is all I can come up with. I know times are rough but everyone wants money. I bet the city will send you a bill for taking it from you.

Does "in your backyard with a car cover meet the requirements" You may want to call "City Hall" or the local police and ask if that will saisfy everyone. Sometimes they are willing to work with you.

well im thinking the 83 model has a mechinal fuel pump on the engine instead of the tank?.. did u take the line lose.. or if electric pump in gas tank check fuses... check all lines... im also in orange park if u need anything

also im pretty sure u can have 1 car not tagged... if keep it outta sight with a car cover over it id put it in back yard with a car cover over it
