Can anyone tell me if I can just remove this belt in order to drive it to the shop? The car makes a squeaky belt noise sometimes and when I checked, this ax compressor would occasionally turn on and off so the belt was running up against it. Can I just remove the belt and turn the AC control to VENT in order to not turn on anyways? It’s got the vbelt pulleys. I’m sure I’ll have to replace the clutch either way or the whole component. Any advice is welcome, thanks!
