ATGO Decals
I need to know how many people are interested in decals. At this point the cost is going to be about $5 each. They would be 4"x8" (roughly) in size white text on a clear decal.

If you can get that in a license plate frame, I'd buy that. The only decal that gets put on my car is my NHRA Member sticker.

Is there going to be a club treasury or something? To fund events or dyno days or whatever? If there is, I'll buy a decal if part of the money goes to that.

Well, cg1 spent about $130.00 making like 25 decals for us (according to Sergio), so we should at least try to help him get back some of his money. Maybe we can do something like that in the future to help fund things. Sergio is thinking that maybe the next event will be a dyno day (just for you)
. I will probably buy two decals (1 for my car and 1 for my wifes 2001 Alero).
Buy the way, the last post of mine was made by Sergio at my house.

I've actually purchased 25 decals. I had them made at the Fast Signs across from Paradise Valley mall. The total bill came to 113.xx. (The style I wanted were going to be considerably more expensive ($408.xx for 25)). The decals will be ready for pick- up tonight (alledgedly). I plan on selling them for $4.50, which, if you do your math, shows me losing $.02 on each decal. Consider it me throwing in my two cents. LOL (C'mon that was funny!!)
I wanted a decal on my car showing my involvement with a statewide f-body group.
I cannot consider this a club purchase, as not all members will want decals on their cars. If there is something the club wishes to purchase, then there may have to be someone appointed to handle the finances. Until then let's keep this dues/fee free.
Even though I like the idea of a club fund, the logistics around that are unbelievable. If the club decides they want a fund set up, then I'm all for it.
I was always under the assumption that each person was charged individually for their dyno pulls, and that there was no specific "club" charge. I've been wrong before.
In the past when other clubs I've belonged to held events, each person (car) brought a specific item. Although this takes a little more planning/coordination it provides a more enjoyable experience for all in my opinion.
(Note) I was typing this while the last 2 responses came in. I appreciate the generosity, but it's all good. I'm looking forward to spending time with 3rd gen people.

I thought they were the kind of stickers where the letters only peeled off.

These are a vinyl decal, there are 2 protective papers to peel off. The first side is sticky, but you use water/soap to get all the bubbles out, then you moisten the top and peel it away.
I didn't use any water to stick it down. If I had used soap and water there would be no bubbles and it would look like just the letters.
The ones where just the letters peeled off were the ones I got quoted 408$ for 25. They claimed they charge by the letter...

I think I still have a squeegee left from window tinting jobs. I will also bring a bottle of soap water to use. Anyone who wants to use my stuff would be more than welcome. TL
