Hey guys, code 32 and 43.....need help!
My car keeps setting off codes 32 and 43. Code 32 is the EGR and it sets it off when the car is warmed up, so it's not the temp sensor part of it. Could a bad EGR cause a fuel smell around the car? I checked the gas cap and it makes a hissing sound when I open it. That is the normal thing right? Cause all my other cars' gas caps made that sound when they were opened. Usually when the tank is near empty.
Code 43 is for the Knock sensor, can water in the tank going through the system pop this code up? I just bought the car and it was sitting for awhile so I'm assuming water just started condensing in the tank and there still might be some. So I filled the tank up with 91 octane, put in a bottle of fuel injector cleaner and water remover.
If the fuel smell is related to a faulty gas cap, could it be the culprit of letting water form in the tank?
Thanks guys!!

PS, I am extremely happy the board is back up as well.
