My Iroc is running finally!
I finally got the E85 conversion finished! Except the fuel filter, I need to run new lines from the tank but according to some cross references the filter I have is used in a couple of FFVs, I'll have to keep an eye on it.
Now I just need to tune the wideband for regular fuel, then switch it over. I almost had it running on Tuesday, but the Aeroquip swivel 120 degree hose ends I had started leaking (from their internal non-replaceable seals) so I had to order some Earl's non-swivel hose ends. But now I have the hoses cut to a sane length (they were twice as long before and routed all over the place) and my new external FPR is set up.
Check out the custom HSR fuel rail and Aeromotive external FPR.. teh secksay:
But none of this would be possible without my new (had to buy it an hour ago) battery charger/200 amp engine starter because my battery went dead and during cranking it'd go down to 6V.
And now I can take my car off these goofy rollers I had to buy to move the car over and make room for the Secret Project.

I'm a happy clam.
Edit: Yes, I require a Festivus pole to hold my hood up. I got sick of buying hood struts every year.

The VW was chopped up (I still have the running gear except the motor if anyone's interested).
Here's a hint... and it's going on a Chevy that my spare TPI motor's going into. Anyone have a 700R4 lying around?

Got the wideband wired up. The simulated narrowband output for the ECM seems to cross a bit too slow for the ECM to go into closed loop, I'll probably just wire the regular O2 to the ECM and use the WB for logging only.
I'd do it today, but my shoes are full of sweat since it's like 64% humidity and the sun just broke through the clouds.

I'll have to look. Checkers lists a lower model in their stores, pepboys website is dismal. 200 amps more then enough starting juice with a totally crapped out battery?

Yep. My battery was dead enough to set off my car alarm when I turned the key (because it went to 0 volts) and it started right up. My fuel pump was louder than I ever heard it.
