Selling my Iroc..

EDITed.

Thought I would offer it to the local guys first...

1990 Camaro Iroc-Z - Clean title. All matching numbers.

It is a L98 350. Last time the car was running, I ran a 13.99 @ 97mph.
Only mods on it were the 2k Stall Converter and a Ravin Muffler. It now has a newer cooling system. New Radiator, new Edelbrock Hi-flo Waterpump, Thermostat, and hoses. It also has an Edelbrock 3point Strut tower brace on it, a BBK 58mm Throttle Body, and a lightweight underdrive pulley on it. The alternator underdrive pulley is not on it but will come with it. Those are the only mods that are on it now.

The car needs work. The 700r4 needs a rebuild and there is possibly something wrong with the Rear end. The car DOES drive, but OD is gone and if you give it more than 1/4 throttle from a stop, there is a LOUD clanking noise from the rear. There is also a clogged injector (I believe) as sometimes it won't stay running unless you give it a tiny bit of gas. Other times it starts and runs fine.

Other than that, it has a few dents/dings and needs paint. I rear ended someone about 5 years ago at about 35 MPH so it has a different fender/hood and front bumper. The bumper cover is Maroon but is also from an Iroc. The drivers door has a couple dents in it that could be repaired easily and the drivers fender has a small dent.

The interior could use a good steam cleaning, and there is now a small crack on the dash pad (from sittin in the sun for months). Also the headlight switch needs to be replaced (but it still works).

It has aftermarket 16" wheels on it. Only problem, the car got towed about 9 months ago and someone stole the wheel locks. The tires need replaced. The drivers tire needs most (has a slow leak and the tire is dry rotted). I have two used tires in the car that come with it. They just need to be put on the rims. Discount tire will get the locks off for about $20 bucks.

The engine runs VERY strong ( that's why the tranny is broke again. ), and it has 104k on it. It smokes a little bit when you first start it up. But the engine still has alot of life in it.

It has been sitting for about 9 months, but I can get it started with just a jump.

Asking $2,500 OR BEST OFFER. Price is negotiable. Not interested in trades.
The car would make a GREAT project car, and as you know, these are getting rare.

Email me at sjoshuae@yahoo.com.

I started it up about 6 months ago and made this video. The car hasn't been on the road since this.

This is a video of it when I last had it at the track.

This run was a 14.1 @ 96. My friend somehow recorded over my 13.99 run. :-/

Damn dude, sorry to hear that you are getting rid of the car! I've seen it in person. It does need a little lovin, but it isn't going to be a hard car to give it to. If I wasn't broke as a joke I'd take it off your hands. Swap over the working parts from mine onto that thing (or vise-versa) and it'd be one hell of a car Good Luck Man!!!

Thanks alot, Bruce. As you can see, I haven't been on here in awhile.
I just don't have the money to put in to it to fix it, or I would keep it. I have a 9 month old baby now, so it's just time I let it go.
