READ ME

whats up everyone. i used to post here alot back in the day, then i got into racing sport bikes... well i let my car sit for a while cause i went through a couple t-5s and got sick or it. well i miss my car so its time to get it going again. its 91z, slp headers "which gotta go" full exhaust, 9bolt dic rear w/ 3:45s, aluminum driveshaft, ss hood, tt2's. and a ton or dust that needs to be nocked off.... im a tech for a chrysler jeep dodge dealer and im a custom painter.so doing the work is no probl. but i need some parts.
i need a 700r4 core that i can just build, or a good t5 i can throw in.i could use some decent heads and cam kit,but ill probably get the cam and timing stuff from jegs.

Re: READ ME

I have a set of Vortec heads ready to bolt on. No intake though. Guides have been machined for more lift, new seals, valve job and single springs. Asking $300.00 plus the ride. I still have a working non WC T-5 to get you by for now if your interested, $200.00?

Re: READ ME

You need a Vortec specific intake. Several out there I just dont have one to go with the heads. The trans makes noise, but doesn't scream. I used it in a daily driver for about a year.

Re: READ ME

you know you can get a rebuild kit, new bearings, seals, synchro assemblies for $205, may be easier for a full swap but you can atleast rebuild the one you have, if it screams id say its a bearing.

And if you have a 350 why dont you get a t56 instead?

Re: READ ME

its a 305... id do a t56 if i could find one for a decent price.
ive rebuilt it twice. its not bearings, its input shaft to counter shaft teeth are bad. just in parts i need 500. its not worth the parts it needs.
