I need help from time to time working on my car. 1987 IROC Z28, 5.0 ltr. TPI. Right now I need to replace a possibly leaking rear freeze plug. I must drop the tranny to do it. Can't do it on my own. I am always willing to help out but the problem is a travel alot for work. I have a tranny jack also and have pulled a couple of trannys in my day. Do you have a garage to work in and is the car a daily driver? Also, if your 16 and you live with your parents I will pass. Don't need any of that drama.

But otherwise I would be happy to lend you a hand. I also have data scanner and a large arsenal of tools I have acquired over the years.

 

im down to help anytime ive done several tranny jobs. Just let me know i also have a garage but not too much tools and also its in El Mirage but im willing to help just let me know.

Ha Ha,16? Oh to be 16 again. Right on,I am 38 though,have a townhouse with 2 parking spots in front of my patio. I work on my IROC here all the time. It is my daily driver but I don't have to drive it every day right now. I will definately need a tranny jack. I do have plenty of tools,not many car specialty tools,but also have air compressor and air tools. I don't know all it takes to do this job. Thanks for the reply. I'll send ya a 'p.m.' with my #.

 

SUCH A GREAT IDEA... I think it would be cool to find auto shop owners to have a certain day for guys to meet and have a shop to do some work in. Run with the idea guys.
