I WAS GONNA PAINT MINE BUT AFTER ALL THIS ENGINE REBUILD / REAR END / TRANSMISSION INSANITY I DOUBT I WILL HAVE THE ENERGY OR THE PATIENCE LEFT. LOOKS LIKE ITS GONNA STAY RED.

 

ok, just waxed it. i'm over it at this point, have some imperfections, but whatever. haha. i'm changing the colour when i get back home to my garage and privacy . not too bad for a back alley paint job.

still have to paint the louvers on the side. and rattle canned the bumper yesterday, so still gotta wet sand that, and maybe paint once. its still cracked all to hell, but i'll be getting a warehouse load of fiberglass after a new set of tires.

and the last picture you can see my sweet new biker stache and awesome new hockey m-u-l-l-e-t.

 

2nd pic looks like i have a wicked dent on the door. its just reflection of my neighbors cavalier.

its workin like a dream already! in the 2 days i have had it, i can say that the ladies dig my mull et! and that was just with the t tops on still! could have been the bolo tie and shooting glasses too. not to mention the things i tell them i would do to them with barbecue sauce...

i took the TA out on a desert cruise yesterday (as a therapy session for a crap morning), t tops off, mulle t flappin' in the breeze, blasting some judas priest, poison, squire, etc.

that moment completed me.

the cars in my row at my complex have all gotten keyed over the past few months. the guy in the spot next to me (who is an officer also) got hit again yesterday. makin me a smidge nervous with the fresh paint job.

and i'm the kinda guy that if my car gets messed with, i mess up all the other cars, to be certain i got the one who got me.

what can i say? i come from a long line of postal workers from the bronx.

Well at least you can narrow it down by guessing it wasnt anyone who had their car keyed, if yours gets keyed... No one would dare key my cars! The neighborhood I live in is full of gun owners... Some are even trigger happy...

had some cabin fever today, and still hitting it with polish/wax trying to fix its dust collecting issue. so took it up to squaw and snapped a few nighttime winners.

was gonna take it up to bartlett lake tonight to see stars and such, no dice, *cough*

its even worse when you are 1700 miles away from your home/garage/tools but thats a whole different story.

haha, that's right! you are stuck with all dirt! when i lived in CO, i had to use cinder blocks, because my driveway was wood chips, grass, some weeds, and a few woodland creatures. it was scary as hell to do work under that thing haha.

 

I know what you mean! Last time I was under mine I had a scorpion crawl up my leg! Lucky it did'nt sting me!
