Yesterday (Thursday) Albuquerque was covered with a very thick layer of smoke from the Alpine, AZ fires. This morning the cars were covered with ash. Holy crap....never seen anything like it. You people alright out there!?!

 

Yeah. The state is burning down around us, but we are ok. Sorry 'bout the litter! LOL.

 

Amazing! I'll post pictures of a typical evening in Alb. since the fires. Health officials are saying if you can't see 5 miles, air quality is poor. Stay inside. Heck...I can't see 5 blocks and I can barely see 5 houses. Guess that not good!!LOL

My buddy says let Mexicans in to put out the fires!!! LOL!! Damn crazy dude.

 

good thing im up in washington lol hey bill you wouldnt happen to be able to hunt down a part for me in your neck of the woods would ya? i need an AUJP" memcal out of a 90-92 tpi system, theyre impossible to find lol thats the only thing hoding me up now, harness is here and cleaned up, new motor has the rocker nut on its way, just needing a memcal now lol

 

Whats crazy is that, if it werent for the news, we wouldnt even know there was a fire!

 

We have had a few in my area, they were put out before they got to ugly.
They have closed down three of our major attractions here in the Tucson area.
Few set fires in the area, crazy people. Yes the wind is blowing right in your direction.

 

Tucson has attractions??? I only went down there for drift events and when we opened the new division of qt lol

 

The satellite views are pretty scary. That Apache fire on the AZ/NM border is huge and totally uncontained. With these crazy winds, I think that forest is toast....pun intended. Joking aside, it's a sad situation. That forest will probably never fully recover in our lifetimes.

I wouldn't have a clue without the news. We would know if the smoke was blowing southwest tho.
