Just wanted to see if there is any interest in a meet and greet in the Phoenix area. Will need to be after SEMA/Nov 5 but wanted to get a thread started now to try and hash things out.

 

So I guess there just not enough people with thirdgens in AZ that want to get together or have any type of club.

 

Not entirely true. Some of us are just really busy at this time of year finishing up the racing schedule before relaxing in December for a couple weeks while parts arrive for the holiday upgrade thrash.

 

It's all good. I get together with the Turbo Buick crowd and have plenty of projects to keep me busy. I have never seen a lot of community activity here with 3rd gens and just thought I would try to get something going.

 

We had 2 meets in Tucson around 2003, then no one could get a 3rd together. Don't know if it was lack of interest, people with busy schedules, etc, but it sure do remember that sunburn I got.

 

Me and my buddy who is also an active member on here are in Phoenix and both have 3rd gens. We have been planning on attending the pavillions car show soon and then one in the fountain hills area that's on sundays I think. I don't think many people come onto these threads, so I don't know how many people who are in the phoenix area would see this.

 

I'd like to see your ride if you make it to the Pavillions.

No third gen here.

 

Me and my buddy might find some time to head out tonight. Either both of us or in one of ours. So keep an eye out for my blue one or his maroon one just in case.

As for asking anyone if they are "Ample Unicorn," I don't know about that.

 

We probably aren't going to make it now. We were stuck doing landscaping all day. Next weekend I think we will go though. And my name is Brad. You can still call me the Ample Unicorn though if you prefer.

My kid's analysis of a 96 Grand Sport C4 was they were paying attention when it was being built.

 

I think we are both going to show this weekend. I have to put my new lower control arms and swar bar links in I ordered that I didn't get around to this past weekend, but we were talking about showing up. Hopefully we will have time this weekend.
