Possible new plan for next car
Possible new plan for next car
I think instead of getting a 4th gen, I might get an older Toyota pickup for everyday and buy an 89 Camaro 5 speed for my hobby car. In a few weeks, I think I will begin my search for an 88-90.

How about a nice '85 Trans Am with a Calif. Firebird rear spoiler and a 5 spd.?

Ok...
How about an 86 TA with a 91 engine, auto tranny, good suspension, and new paint job (a good one, not a one day/maaco garbage job)?

Only needs some interior work. I really wanna redo it like original, but the cloth is proving to be unavailable anymore
Hey Don, whats a Calif. Firebird rear spoiler?

It's kinda unique (rare).
Kevin has the picture, maybe he'll post it.

How about an 89 Corvette? There's one for sale in the local Pennysaver. I think it was about $9000.

It is factory. It came off an '83 California Trans Am or something like that.

Thanks Don and Chris, but I'm going to look for a 89 Camaro. When I'm ready, I'll post a detailed list of what I want since there's no hurry.
Thanks again,

Your car is really clean. Very nice car with alot of great options. Too bad it wasn't black or white with a black interior. How are the squeaks and rattles at 167k? My 1985 IROC had quite a few at 112k.
If I stick with Toyota truck for everyday and the 1989 IROC for a fun car, the IROC must have: black interior, 4 wheel discs, original 5 speed, and a hardtop model. The exterior color black or white, but I might consider other colors depending on the car.
If I go with a 3rd or 4th gen for everyday, it would be the same as above except substitute the 5 speed for an auto (black exterior only for the 4th gen Z28).
Thanks,
Steve
