Who does quality engine swaps?
I live in the San Gabriel Valley, have a 1991 RS 305, and want to swap to a carbed 350.
Does anyone know any mechanics or speedshops that do good work with this type of swap?
I am willing to check out places in Orange, South Bay, Inland Empire or the Valley. Any reccomendations on people you know that I should talk to would be much appreciated. Thanks guys, Eric

You can't do a legal carb swap on your car. It is either stay TBI or go TPI (speed density). Having said that ...
I'd do it, but it would take three to fours years. :sillylol:

do it yourself...its not too hard...a manual and a lift and basic hand tools and your set...
im 17 and done it twice ...
just take the time to do everthing right the 1st time..clean and label your parts...paint them if u want to be fancy like me....then assemble...
id say save the $$ and do it yourself...

Like George said, you can not do a 305 TBI to 350 carb swap legally. Why not just stay w/ the TBI or convert to TPI? I am also planning on swapping in a 350 for the 305 but I am not sure if I will be keeping the TBI or converting to TPI. Don is your man for for this job, he's done all the work on my RS.
