Well my friend has an 84 Firebird 500, the engine is pulled so he got under the car and read off the trnny plate that it was a borg warner T-10 tranny....i already have the bellhousing and clutch and we are going to pull it out on tuesday.....are these T-10's pretty rare/worth anything.......Im also going to pull the spoiler off the car...the cool thing is its all free, I just have to pull whatever off it before ecology comes next week

I bet it's a super T-10. It's suppose to be stronger or as strong as the Muncie M-22. They used these behind bigblocks so I think they can take some torque. I don't know if they are rare or not but I would say they are worth $500 and up.
