T-10 or muncie?

I have a Muncie layin around. I dont know much about it other than it was just rebuilt and its got the 10 spline input shaft. I've heard that the T-10 would be a better choice for my application. All I need to know is which trans is stronger. Like I said i dont know what kinda muncie or what kinda parts it was rebuilt with, so just in general are T-10's or Muncies stronger? Which ever one I choose I hope holds up to 5K lauches with a 383 and slicks.

On another note, it would be kinda cool to hear an M-22 in a third gen. Gotta love the whine from that trans

found out today that its a M-20 built between 1970-1974. So would I be better off with a T-10? I eventually want to put a T-56 but dont have the cash right now. But I do have access so several 4 speeds

An M20 is a wide ratio 4-speed. Its probably a better choice than a M21/M22 for the street anyway, because the gear ratios are much more 'streetable'.
