T-10 on '86+newer?
Can I back a later model, one piece rear seal'ed SBC, with a T-10? What clutch would I need?

Yup.
The trans doesn't care what kind of crank you have.
You can run any clutch you want, as long as its splines fit the particular T-10 you've got. If it's the later model T-10 with the 26-spline clutch gear, the stock clutch for your car will work with it.
Where you're going to run in to serious problems is the trans mount, unless your T-10 is one of the extremely few that came in 82s. The shifter may not be available either. The reason is that the trans is rotated about 30° clockwise viewed from the fron, so the shifter is wacked and the trans mount pad on the ext housing is rotated. The reason for that is that the clutch fork has no choice but to go in between the 2 trans-to-BH bolts; and if the trans is installed "straight up", the clutch fork will have no choice but to go right through the driver's right foot. Unless you are willing to severely sodomize your floor pan you are stuck with the rotated situation.

Actually it's going into my Elco, but the engine I want is TPI, from a third gen. Thanks for your knowledge though.
