well I just bought a 1989 5.7 iroc-z today needs some work but runs and will be my project car now.No more messing with the teal rs even though it still kicked jasons but its redused to daily driver as i built the crap out of the iroc

well heres the scoup it was 920 bucks i found it at pick-a-part in monrovia off the 10 freeway right after the guy brought it in. see it was hit in the front but just cosmetic damage .it needs a fender hood and nose it runs good and is all original. I checked the rpo codes today and its a dealer ordered special car it has a bunch of bitchen options. I'm gonna restore it to its stock form on the apearance side but other than that it will be running 11's

O crap my buddy was telling about seeing a guy take a 1989 IROC from the Pick-Your-Part in Monrovia as soon as the car came in. I think that was you. Sweet deal on the car Rusty

small world huh im gonna start tearing into the front end next saturday.I'm gonna get that all squared away then dissmantel it completely and rebuild the hole car with everything new its probably gonna be a 3 to 4 year process depending on how much I want to spend

Yeah, Rusty's RS with its Headers, Chip, Gears, HO Intake, etc beat my stock Z28 5.0 Sure constitutes bragging rights! lol. Anyways, congrats on the car Rusty, glad you finally found one. Give me a call... as for GS3. Seems I truely was the backbone concidering I gave a month for the officers to get in touch with me reguarding the movement of the site and forums, and no one did. Oh well, not my problem. My car is done for the time being anyways, who knows when it will roll again.

No money and something is wrong witht he fuel system. Im changing the FPR his weekend, but i think that it may be the fuel pump. I have the TPI off the car right now.

jason you should try getting you coil and spark control module(the black thing in the disributor) checked at autozone see you might have spark but you will lose it off and on just another sugesstion
