rebuilt engines

are there any problems with buying a rebuilt engine? i wanna get a rebuilt engine form these people.

united engine

and its this engine

5.7 350

i dont think ill have the time or space this summer to rebuild mine and they come with a good warrenty and have been in business a long time. ill be checking the BBB and BAR

Go up to Auto Marine Engineering and talk to them if you are looking to have them provide and install and engine. On Foothill, Next to Odel Tires (I think cross is Vincent).

Another EXCELLENT shop is Performance Associates in San Dimas. Cataract and Arrow Hwy/Bonita. They are pricy but will dyno and program your EFI. They do a lot of high end work.

If you're just looking for a engine, call Johnson Machine Service in Monrovia. Ask for Greg or Rick. They will build you what ever you want. They have an engine dyno but not for EFI.

thx. cross street is vermont. i know a couple of the guys that work there but never been there. maybe ill try them out.

You have to live where you have to live. Living in So cal is too expensive and I know people that live right on the outside of compton, it's just the fact that not too many reputable business' are known to reside in compton.
