Paging the ReddRocket!.....
Mike,
What brand of seats does your company sell?
I'm just doing some homework/research at this point.
Corbeau or Scat/Procar will run about $1k for 2 seats, sliders and F-body brackets. On eBay there are some great deals on "knock-off" seats by E Speed, DAD and others, but obviously there are quality concerns. Still, a PAIR of seats for $350-$400 is a tempting price.
Here's a link as an example:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=2424132072
I've had Corbeau in the past and wasn't thrilled with how well they held up under daily driving. Fortunately I got them cheap from a friend. Lon's seats have also faded pretty quickly from sun exposure. At close to $400 per seat I expect better quality so I'm kind of sour on Corbeau.
I don't need ultra radical seats. I just want better support for "spirited" driving and with cut-outs for harnesses.
Any info. you have to offer would be cool.

Hey Bret!
I've seen some good deals both on ebay and the junk yard for Recaros! At the yards, look at BMWs! You can find them there! I bought a few sets for friends there! One set went into a Ford Bronco, and other one a Trans Am! They were black though.
Trying to help,
George (Recaro lover)

Hey Bret!
I hit a few junk yards over the weekend, and didn't see one BMW with Recaros!
Why is it when you look for them cause someone may need/want them, you can nerver find any?? Then, when you don't need/want them, you find them??
Oh well, I tried,
George

I've spied some seats on ebay that I'm tempted to pick up.

Bare with me Brett; I’m in the process of running the contacts. I should have solid selection/pricing for you in a couple of days.

Heeeeey Mikey,
Any progress?

Ideally, here's the seats I like - http://www.procarbyscat.com/procarrave02.html
These will run $1000+ though shipped to my door with all hardware.
That's what lead me to ebay. The Tenzo Rally-Type seats are very similar and are half the price. The downside is that they have that darn ri**er logo on them.
