Valve Seals cont'd.....
I found Nick's thread informative so I thought I'd put up another post to learn a little more.
I snapped a pic of the valve springs, seals and retainers I have sitting in my garage. The seal on the left is the intake seal. The two on the right are the exhaust seals. The natural color = one diameter, the black = a second diameter depending on the size of the valve stems used. The plastic bag contains 16 oil stem seals.

Here are the specs:
Springs - GMPP #3927142 - single spring w/damper, 1.273" OD, 110# pressure @ 1.70" installed height.
(Notes: Use with camshaft #3927140 and all high performance production cams to extend RPM range.)
Retainers - GMPP #14003974 - 1 3/32" diameter, used on ZZZ, ZZ1, ZZ2 350 HO and 350/300hp engines.
Seal Kit - GMPP #12511890, late model V8 seal kit.
My original intention for buying these springs was to use them to rebuild my L98 heads and extend the RPM range. I had also planned to install the LT4 Hot Cam. However, I no longer have plans to rebuild my factory engine.
Everything is brand new GMPP and still in the packaging. I picked up all the parts for $100.
Anyone have any further input/info. on these springs?

I'm up for the challenge. I picked up some parts in the last couple days (moog, baer, etc.) and had my PS gearbox rebuilt by Lee. Perhaps I'll take a few pics so you can see how they install on a vehicle

I still need to talk with our friends at Moog. Once I've done that it will be about time for Installapalooza and an appointment with the alignment shop.
Oh, and here's a pic of my car so you can remember what it looks like:

I can't remember what I've never seen....or will ever see

what size wheels/tires will you be running? I just need to get some Koni shocks and I should be set for now in the suspension department. I figure with my free trip to willow and a couple passes around Mike, he'll be forced to put on his superam combo like he promised.

In the meantime, I may try to pick up some inexpensive wheels I can put some race tires on.
And who says I don't install any of my parts.
