Nick's server died for good this time. He has a new server up now, but Bret and Frank need to move everything over to it and update the links.

I pointed the domain name toward Nick's new server this morning. If everything else is transferred over it should just be a day or two and it will be back up.

I still cant find the login info... But none of my code needs to be changed. As long as the domain name is set and the data and database made it to the new site, it should work. If I need to upload it again, I need to get the login stuff from you again. I moved and can't find anything still. As for the database, if there wasn't a more recent backup than mine, we will lose a little bit of stuff.

The URL is now working, but all that loads is a blank page. If Nick's server flat out died, then everything is probably lost and the site needs to be reloaded onto the new server.

There's nothing to really debug. We just need to reload the site onto the new server. Frank is also going to change the settings for the site so that it loads full screen width, rather than being fixed at the narrow width.

I still need to give him a revised logo/header that will work with the new width. Once everyhing is back up and running, we should try to use the site as our main source of communication and TGO as a back-up.

Not the first time this has happened. Between server crashes, moves, security changes... and its still not working right now. I guess I dont understand having a 'main' site that people dont want to go to, and is down quite often.

Hey, sometimes it takes a little time to work out the bugs. I also want EVERYONE to remember that we're getting all this stuff FOR FREE!.

Frank pretty much donates his time to maintian the site. Nick hosts it for us for FREE. If people want to **** and moan and complain, then come up with a better solution or get out your checkbook.

We could have a real fancy, bang-up site, with a fast server, trick message board ...and so on, but it costs money. And that's MONTHLY money.

Well, I think we just need to hash out some of the kinks and the site will be a tad more user friendly. Then we just need to encourage everyone to use the site as the main source of communication.
