fyi that Lake Pyramid route just scratches the surface of a killer cruise route
from there you are connected to the entire Angeles National Forest and I know some routes that will blow your minds away with everything from cool curves to the most beautiful scenery you can imagine (and there's far more canyons with zero traffic than we could do in an entire day).
