New best time
I just got back from Sac with some good time slips and a video of my 12.536 @ 117.070 MPH. I could only get a best of a 1.918 60' though. This was with a 75 shot of N2O (the only jets I could find that matched).
I did get a 12.840 @ 110.064 on the motor.
All my other runs were too much tire spin or a messed up 1-2 shift. I still have the really short shifter arm that came w/ the pro 5.0 and I should have removed the boot at least.
It's been a long time since I was driving at a track and this was with a new trans and TA. I was all messed up at first. Good thing I was able to get in a lot of runs.
I was a great day of racing with cool weather and only a 10-15 minute wait if you wanted to hot lap.

That is great news Dwayne! FINALLY that thing is starting to live up to its potential. Just a matter of getting things sorted out. Looking at your mph and the sixty foot time, I think high 11's are there. Im impressed, wish I was there to see it run. Ive probably got a few more Sunday drives before the snow flies. Getting chilly. Jeff P.S. Get yourself a car fire extinguisher! Im serious!

Good times
But not good enough to beat me on the motor
If you can, come on down to the Street Drags on Nov.13 ( this weekend) to do some real racing and some real competition. I have a good shot of beating your 383 heads up.

Don - It's a bit improved like a paved return road but thats about all that's been done since I was there 20 years ago.
I did get some 113 and 114 mph runs on the motor but they had alot of tire spin and were 12.9 and 13.1.
Vincent - I won't be able to make it to the Fontana event but I'll let you have a chance at me sometime.
I need to look into a few things like why the line lock blew fuses and get a longer shifter rod.
Jeff - I'll throw that same extinguisher in the car that almost bit me when I needed it. It took a few runs to get "it" together and I'm sure if I sent it to Don to "put the tune on it" I'd get better times. I bet you have a nice hat collection now.
