Looking for UGLY Rims
Looking for the ugliest set of Third Gen rims that are sitting / rotting away in your garage. (or maybe for you sailors and Marines that are getting tired of hiding them in the barracks on inspection day). The only requirements are that they are FAIRLY straight and are on tires that hold air. ( the tires could be totally bald and dried out.) ALSO MUST BE IN THE SAN DIEGO AREA! Reason is, I'm pulling the rims off a GTA that's going to be sitting for a while, and just need to be able to roll it from time to time. I'll pay you 75 bucks for the set. That's about what I would pay at the boneyard, just easier this way and could get someone with old crusty rims sitting around some QUICK cash. PM me if you have a set. Thanks!

Have you tried pick a part or the Recycler? I'm sure you could get a set from either one of them for about $50.00

I'm pretty sure a non-aluminum pos rim is right about 16 apiece. The aluminum ones are higher like 25 or so. It's been a while since I pulled some rims from there though. Maybe I'll wait till the next half off sale if there's one this month.

Too bad you couldn't wait. Ecology's half price day is this Saturday. I have 2 spare sets of rims & tires, but they are much too nice for your needs.

Are you talking the one in Chula Vista, SD? Or in the L.A./O.C. area? I know pick a part just had one here 2 or so weeks ago. I know different regions have the sales different weeks. If it is Chula Vista I'll kick myself in the *** for being so stupid..........lol. They usually advertise the hell out of the half off sales weeks prior, and I don't remember them advertising for this weekend.

From the card I rec'd in the mail:
Ecology Auto Parts Half Off Sale, 50% off all parts. Saturday April 23rd only.
Locations:
Sfe Springs, Adelanto, Wilmington, Phoenix, Chula Vista, Oceanside, San Diego, Lancaster, Fontana.
I guess you can start kicking yourself now. If I go it will be only for a couple of hours. I've got plans for the afternoon.

That's right, Ecology does usually do all locations in one day, Pick -a- Part usually has the sale in different areas at different times during the month.
