The GTA is done...

.... well about 99% done but you get the idea.

It's a very rare (optioned ) '87 Russet Metallic GTA that I've had for a few years now. It will be my brother's now

Here are some progress pics

after some assembly

Done with new interior

I've seen the color before, one of my favorites. Nice restore, can you recommend any parts sources? I am restoring a '91 Formula.

Not yet, still waiting to get it back from the builder, Blaine Fabrication in Santa Cruz. My race car had been taking up most of his time, now that it is finished he can start on the Formula! I do have a place that will paint it in San Pablo, BAF Automotive. I'm going for stock exterior color and decals. Should be some sleeper!

For parts I used the classifieds on this board, local wrecking yards, Thomas @ House of Camaro, Carmotorsports for carpet & badges and lots of time; ~ 3 years of gathering parts

We will be meeting on April 7 at Rickey's and Ronnies on the corner of Supulveda and Normandie a few blocks West of the Harbor Freeway. We have the meeting and then dinner.

Re: The GTA is done...

Very nice, that engine is real clean! And that's a 350 right? Looks like all you need is some floor mats and that car is finished.
