Wanted a hurst dual gate for a 87 iroc

Can you tell how do you like it in a camaro i have in my 67 GTO but it was like that and i was going to put one in my 69 camaro rs ss but i dont have thime so i it still the stock shifter but dose it work good in the camaro because i still race sometimes not like i use to

 

i havent had the time to put it in...it is still in the box. im hoping to get it in one of these upcoming weekends. but ive heard mixed reviews. do a search on here and you will see alot of opinions from other members who have it on their thirdgen.

 

I have liked my Dual Gate shifter, it's functional and fun. It has gotten some bad reviews on this board, though. The problems I've had are: the (stock) cable that locks the shift lever when the steering column is locked wouldn't reach to be attached to the new shifter (shift lever can be moved when the steering column is locked); the spring that opens the gate (and keeps the gate from rattling) broke, but I replaced it with the spring from a retractable ball-point pen.
