Yes, I've crossed into the next decade. I've done 50 trips 'round the sun now!
Blue Cross has a strange way of wishing me a Happy Birthday. My medical insurance increased by $45 a month. They didn't even send a card.

Wait until they send you a notice of non renewal and you have to go on the "socialized medical" program.

Happy Birthday Lon. Now that you have the experience to do things right, you no longer have the energy.

Happy b'day, Lon. You know those aches and pains you start feeling at 40 and they get worse at 50? As far as I can tell, they don't get any better at 60 either! According to an interview of Dr Edward Koop (Surgeon General under Reagan), he said the pains started going away when he turned 80. I've still got a few years before I reach that milestone to see if he is right!

Thanks everyone. Great news. I passed my vision test at DMV to renew my drivers license. OK, so I'm a day late getting it renewed. I had no time earlier and there was just no way I was going to waste any time on my birthday at the DMV. I was concerned since I waited too long to order my new glasses and didn't have them yet. I passed fine without them, so now it won't say "corr lens" on my new license.
Yesterday was a great day at D'Land. We'd made reservations for lunch at Blue Byou on our last visit 8/30. The French Market restaurant was closed, so the jazz band that normally performs there was on the balcony inside the Blue Byou performing as we had lunch.
Boy what a difference in the park there was compared to that recent Saturday visit. For one the weather was absoutely perfect, not too hot during the day and still warm enough at 9:30 for short sleeves (which was all I'd brought). More dramatic was how uncrowded it was. For example it was just a 7 minute wait to get on Splash Mountain compared to 90 minutes. I haven't ridden it in over two years so it was fun to find my "laughing place" again. Toy Story Mania was a 20 minute wait, but sadly Hamm was turned off and hidden behind canvas so Debra didn't get to see him interract with those in the cue. She still had fun on the ride though. It was just a great day.

Oops, you're right. Too many years since I played with one. I'm still sad that he wasn't "on" though.
