If you put a tpi intake on this would it run and technically be smog legal in CA?

 

it isn't hard to pass any 5.7 the legit way.. with your egr and air system and tuning emissions wont be a problem. i can send u specs on the cam.

 

I wonder how much it would be and how hard to find the rest of the parts to do a V8 swap...

If its a roller cam, hell yes. He said its a mild cam. I can make almost anything pass CA smog with my tuning. Its not that tough if you plan it and ask us questions first.
