wiring and emissions

Is this the right diriveter valve for my 91 Z/28 350? I noticed in pics that most of those d valves have a perforated box facing the front of the car, but mine doesn't have one.

Also these wires. I think the 3 red wires (2 are connected) go to the starter?
The white connector goes to the knock sensor, The thick purple wire thats cut I have no clue and the last connector that looks a little burned and is patially missing I thought went to the 02 sensor, but I noticed my exhaust manifolds and the hole for the 02 sensor is on the left one. Are my manifolds the right ones for my year Camaro?

I did this thread all over again because I wasnt getting any traffic at the TPI forum

Re: wiring and emissions

purple wire looks like the starter wire. the other wire is probably the fan switch wire.

I figured that the SoCal forum would be the busiest so thats why I moved it to here.
It took me over an hour to redo it to here as I have a VERY slow computer. LOL IF a moderator wants to move it general engine forum, he can do it quicker than I can Hopefully I'll be getting a new computer sometime later this year

89 TA called it, the grey wire goes to the fan switch on the passanger side of the block between cyl 6 and 8 seen here:

Re: wiring and emissions

That looks like the right D valve, it just doesn't have the cover on it.
