makes my day everytime i see her(z06)
a few years ago i met an old man whom we call "Wild Bill" at my second job(autozone),he would always ask me what i am going to school for and i always answered "to be a CaRTOONIST"
just to make fun of me.. well one day after i had gotten my degree, he came up to me and asked me if i was willing to do a design for a z06 corvette that he was going to buy..i was like "ye ye shua shua"
well he kept bugging me about it n i asked him if he was serious.
he said "NO ****,SH!THEAD i need it now!"
i was suprised and i was motivated, so i was thinking ot myself, i need to design these stripes and it CANNOT look stupid..i gave it my best shot using my photoshop skills and made a rough draft..i gave it to him and all he said was "wow,i really love this" in my mind i was like PSHH!! yea right, well i gave it my best! well i didnt see the ol'fart for like 2 yrs, and he came by work one day in his z06! with my design..i am very suprised as well excited..he shook my hand and said "you made this car unique and nobody else will ever match up to it"
and everytime i see it, it makes my day....

very nice, elegant yet agressive I like it ! the only thing he (car owner) should have done different would have been the rims i dont think Chrome goes to well with the color combo.

That certainly give the car kind of a factory one off prototype look. Makes you take a double take to see if its some new concept or special edition Z06.
I like the front shot with the aftermarket grille. it was the look I was going after with my Z06 mockup vette truck. I stole yopu shot for comparison, its about as close as I could get to a Z06 theme for a truck. I got the concept from Eddie Bauer truck, Lighting trucks, Harley Davidson trucks, Viper trucks, etc. If you look close enough, I even have the corvette flag emblem inside the hood vent induction.

ugly front billet grill, ugly billet light surrounds, ugly rear billet things...
take off the billet crap and the car will look better... sorry...

but yea im not into the whole light billet covers but i must admit i do like the grille on it..
but i guess when u got money growing on the trees at ur house (like he does) ull just buy anything that can be added on to ur car LOL!
hes actually ordering a zr1..talk about living life to the fullest!!
the only thing is, hes fighting with his wife about the color LOL!
i wish i had that ability LOL!!
