NOT FAIR! Dyno Don works on high hp cars and I get THIS!

Dyno Don gets all the fast cars and i get a 1937 Chevy Master Deluxe right hand drive. I had to get rid of all the "mickey mouse" like the fuel lines, no wire to the fuel tank sending unit, vacuum lines......... BUT I admit this car was VERY CLEAN! the whole time working on it my hands were clean no dirt or grease! (even under the car) the more work i did the more he gave me!

Nice car. What are you going to do with the Tommy gun. Are you planning on running into Bonnie and Clyde?

That's not me! My job was to replace ALL hard lines are get the the car running right. I think I'm the only shop on the westside that will still work on old cars and my rep with all the locals is very good from what i hear, (sucks for me) I just hate "babysitting" cars.

Those old cars are neat.
I love the AC system

Why one brass and one silver carb?

A story related to the Tommy gun.

This is my story. I'm out cruising and I go thru this stop sign and I get pulled over by a local policeman.

I hand him my his driver's license, insurance verification, FOID card plus concealed carry permit.

"Okay," he says, "I see your CCW permit. Are you carrying today?"

"Yes, I am."

"Well then, better tell me what you got."

I said, "Well, I got a Glock 27, 40 cal. in my inside coat pocket. There's a 9mm semi-auto in the glove box. And, I've got a .22 magnum derringer in my right boot."

"Okay," the cop says. "Anything else?"

"Yes, back in the trunk, there's an AR15 and a shotgun. That's about it."

"Then he asked me, are you on your way to or from a gun range...?"

I replied "Nope."

"Well then, what are you afraid of...?"

To which I answered "Absolutely Nothing..."

LOL funny about that (good eyes) yeah one is a truck carb and one is a car carb and had a hell of a time to get it to run right. So i had him trac one matching "car" carb and had them rebuild them at the same time so both are jetted the same, now im looking to have the horns (og) recoiled, install a old cop siren and the list keeps getting longer

Other than worrying about the paint, that would be great to work on. Talk about simple.

Ow wow. I have a customer that wants me to work on same car as well. It's at her house and I'm suppose to go look at it. Now that you posted this, I will call her tomorrow and set a date to go look at it.
