My attempt at a decent video. "Camaro IROCZ"
Got together with a couple of my media/car buddies to try our hand at some decent footage/editing. I edited, my friends supplied the camera's and rigs. I am pleased with how it came out but as with anything my OCD kicks in and I always feel like it's not finished. Ah well. Let me know what you guys think and of course. Criticism is welcomed!!! lol

I want to take this time to thank everyone who helped make this video happen.
Matt Wright (Mattzoom) HUGE THANKS DUDE!!!!
Kevin Volz (yfzkevin)
Tyler Key (the departed)
and Matt Gallagher (Myselfaffliction)
Without these guys it wouldn't have been possible!!!!!!

Very impressive video man. But lol @ the hatch flying up at 2:18 after the burnout. That car is pretty sick, basically what I want mine to end up like.

That was amazing! You have one hot car, just sweet, clean, fast, gorgeous. I like the part when you got out to smoke
Those cars shouldn't be smoked in. You did a great job

Re: My attempt at a decent video. "Camaro IROCZ"
I see someone watches top gear. Much Top Gear influence there. Like the video.
But fix your hatch! Watching that thing bounce up and down was frustrating!

Awesome video. Love it. Sure, a bit of Top Gear influence, but its great. Who doest love Top Gear. I think that is just the modern style of how things are shot now a days. You guys up’d the anti how car videos should be made.

Re: My attempt at a decent video. "Camaro IROCZ"
The Top Gear comment is a compliment because when it comes to Car Shows NOTHING tops Top Gear for cinematography.
Re: My attempt at a decent video. "Camaro IROCZ"
The Top Gear bit was because of the style of shots chosen for the video. The Pans, focus..etc. Its a style that is used heavily by Top Gear, they were the first to apply it to car video reviews, though Fifth gear uses a similar style, and MotorTrend is using bits and pieces of it now instead of their boring narration.

Re: My attempt at a decent video. "Camaro IROCZ"
I always try to introduce family and friends who like cars to Top Gear. I don't need a US, German, or Australian edition. I need only UK top gear and all is well.
Its why I have EVERY episode from season 1 to season 17 read for instant viewing from the home theater PC.

Re: My attempt at a decent video. "Camaro IROCZ"
I give it a 99.999% rating. I deducted the 0.001% for the wind noise on the camera as you pulled into the lot to get out & smoke, then a little later cruising down the road which caught some wind noise. I know the goal was to get nice to get exhaust sound in, but when the wind noise overides the exhaust sound you get? I'd rather just lose any on-scene sound & stick with the music.
I've done a few myself & had to settle for having just the music too in certain spots, because of wind noise. Love that video editing software those! Awesom effects. Did you have some "professional" rigging to get the smooth pans & sweeps along & around the car?

Re: My attempt at a decent video. "Camaro IROCZ"
You can watch some parts on YouTube which sucks sometimes because they don't tell from what season they are from
I usually download some videos from YouTube to keep in my records and see the episode that I don't have
But I get my Top Gear show from iTunes which is not bad because they are Already converted for my iPod and iPhone
You can try there website also but not sure if it will help out
