If anyone is still here driving a 3rd gen in So. Cal, what are the current limits to pass smog? I know they keep lowering the levels every few years to make it harder for these cars to pass smog in order to get them off the roads.
Is anyone here still passing smog easily with a mostly stock engine and original parts?

On the smog sheet, there are boxes with “measured” and “max” allowable for the five gases that they measure. Every few years, they keep lowering the “max” limits which makes it harder for these cars to pass.
I’m trying to locate my last smog sheet (car has been non op for many years) to see how it compares to the new limits now. I know some people in this forum had problems even smogging these cars back in the day, but they seemed to all have left. Maybe they all bought Mustangs or something. lol!
If you could take a pic of the “measured” and “max” allowable limits on your smog document, that would be great.
Thanks.

So ludicrous measuring O2 & CO2. They are NOT pollutants...

My 350 tpi with SLP headers, Magnaflow cat, and Magnaflow catback. Mines a little more strict on the numbers. Tested in November. Just realized I barely passed that HC test. Might want to look into that....

Here's mine for a 1990 Trans Am. They only measure CO2 and O2 for reference, its not one of the tests. The tests are HC, CO, and NO.
