This Aftermarket replacement weatherstrip kit includes the following pieces:

Forgive my ignorance please...
What is a T-top Out Edge Seal? Is it retained by the interior latch mechanism & plastic?
Just by looking at our tops & weather stripping, how would I know if there is such a thing on...or if it's needed?

I'm learning this as I go, so I THANK YOU for your Patience...if you have any left !!

 

NP Man, it's the seal on the outer edge of the t-top that the top of the window seals against.

 

I'll be purchasing in the near future, my T-Tops leak... 1st day I bought the car, back in 98, I took the car to the car wash... well that should about sum it all up... I smelled nice and fresh for the next few days...

 

off topic a bit but do you have the vertical door glass seals by the mirors? for a 1984 trans am

Any chance you could do a similar package for convertibles? I would be all over that as soon as Uncle Sam gives me my check!

 

That kit also fits the convertible.The top companies didn't modify the door on these cars at all,so that particular seal fits the Camaro with any option package.

That's good for the doors but I also need the pieces for the top & trunk... The weatherstripping for the top is not cheap either so a "package" that saved us a few bucks would be a big deal!

 

I'll see if I can twist some arms over here for you guys.

What type of kit would you guys be interested in ? Like a total kit that has the inner/outer door sweeps,the mirror triangles,door seals,top and windshield seals,and rear trunk seal.

 

Ok I got this done for you guys.Once we get a picture together I'll toss an AD up for you.

The kit ends up saving yah about 40 bucks.

 

I like the $170 saving on the T-Top a little better

 

The parts are different though....good grief....where's the love...

No problem guys. It takes a while to manufacture a part and perfect it.The plastic ones are still being developed,then we have to test fit them before releasing them.

 

Question, has anyone bought this set, and if so, how would you rate it, and how did you apply it?

Also, do you think you could include another package with the drip edge seals, for people who are ordering the entire weather stripping package?

Does this kit include rubber t-top edge seals or plastic?

 

They're rubber. It's the rubber piece that attaches to the glass, not the drip edge weatherstrip.

We also carry new drip edge seals if you need them.
