LCA Relocation brackets can I use stock LCA's

I am getting the car lowered with sportline springs and I am getting the Spohn adjustable panhard bar to allign everything up all right. I am also getting the relocation brackets to tighten things up back there, and I hear it is necessary to do so when you lower your car. Can I reuse the stock lower control arms with the relocation brackets? I don't have enough money to buy new LCA's and would like to reuse the stock ones for now. Is this okay or will they not work?

Always best to check with steve...
the lca relocation brackets he made a year ago
sported three holes that were arranged in an arc
specifically so that you could use the same length
lca in three positions.

This would certainly imply that you
could reuse your stock lca's

relocation brackets won't "tighten things up back there"
(assuming "clapped out" lca's)
however they will allow you to improve the geometry
of the lca

I guess I really said that wrong. By tightening things up I meant avoidance of traction loss with the stock LCA location. I don't want wheel hop once the car is lowered and I understand the geometry change. regaurdless I will still get them. If I have to I will wait a week or two and then order new LCA's.

Yes you can. I installed the LCA relocation brackets by themselves and the results were great. The rear end about as straight as you can get with drop springs. You really don't have to get the pan-hard bar unless you really slam it to the ground. Mine is lowered 1.5 inches.

Yes. I have Spohn LCA relocation brackets installed and am using SLP LCA's, which are basically boxed stock LCA's.
