My car has the same problem. You can pull it all the way up and it does next to nothing. I haven't been able to figure out what is wrong with it.

From: Newark,NJ The state where racing on I 78 rules.
Do U have drums or disk? My car has drums & I had the same problem. My linings were'nt even touching the drums. The automatic adjusting feature sometimes go bad. I had to manually adjust the rear linings until I got a slight drag on the drums. Once U get the slight drag throw the wheels & tires back on & give the E brakes a pull. Should be fine now! Just my $.02

Search the archives for disc recall. Here's one message: https://www.thirdgen.org/techbb2/sho...threadid=78725 The e-brake actually worked after I did this work.
