Drop Zone 1.8" lowering kit........

I'm thinking about purchasing a lowering kit for my car.......

The kit says that it will lower your car about 1.8 inches all around. Has anyone used these kits on their car, and if so can i get some pictures. I have 17" rims with some low-profile tires so they are actually smaller then the stock 16 inch rims that were on there. Will a jack still fit under the car? Any bad parts about having the kit installed?? Thanks...

I would really appreciate any before and after pics.....I did a search, but i was wondering to see any pics of before and after and also to get some more information to see if anyone has used the Drop Zone Suspension brand...

You can see the pictures of my car when you click on the "My Homepage" link below....Thanks in Advance

sorry man a jack aint gonna fit. Unless its one of those little small tiny ones. I have a 1" drop with the 16x8 IROC rims. 245/50/16's on them. And to put a normal jack under my car(the front anyways) I have to drive up on 2 2x4's O_o Then the jack will fit. Kinda sucks but I guess thats the price you pay. Soon my coil overs will be in hte car. And I'll have like a 3" drop cars gonna be slammed to hell hahah

i had a 2" lowering kit on my 87 IROC.....in order to get a jack under it i had to make little "ramps" outta 2x6s....lol...one abour 3 feet long with another about 2 foot long nailed to it to make a stagger...just drove up on them when i went th jack up the car....

looked like this

Get it? I don't think i could make it ne clearer unless a really drew a pic. The things you have to do with a lowered car......i got sick of it...my Convertible is my fun car so i want a "nice ride"(compared to teh lowered one...ROCK HARD) but still have good handeling...and the IROC package with 36 24 mm sway bars, the wonder bar give me that:rockon:

Well I have also been searching for coil overs for a really long long time. I found a few that atcually convert your car to ATCUALLY coil overs. But from what I hear doing so damages the strut mount. And is a safety risk because it wasnt designed to handle the cars weight. I ended up going with Ground Control which keeps the springs in the stock location. The front using a weight jack style and the rear using a adjustible perch coil thing O_o but yea. With the GC coil over kit you can raise the car 3" or lower the car 3". And the springs are made for race cars so they say. But if you want you can get custom spring rates. Total is like 497 for me which kinda sucks on the price (note. I live in hawaii so shipping was like $40 probalby cheaper for you). But I guess its ok cause when I get new rims, new mods, imma have to adjust the height of the car. So in the long run I'm saving money.
