Road Racing setup
Helllo All.
I am looking for advice on what parts/brands/setup to use on my GTA for Road racing. The car will see minimal street use, so street driving is not a priority, best track setup is.
Thanx

Don't get anything with the poly ends, go with the spherical rod ends. Panhard rod and trailing arms (LCA's) specifically.
Weld-in SFC's, Poly sway bar bushings, endlinks and a-arm bushings. MOOG components for the tie-rod ends, center link and idler arm.
An adjustable caster/camber plate for the struts, heavier springs with height adjusters, re-valved struts.
Bigger brakes, too. Minimum a 1LE setup with stainless steel flex hoses.
If you're going to compete, them you'll need to read the rulebook first to see what you can and can not use. I built mine to be adjustable for what ever track I go too, as well as for the street.

Dont forget a fresh set of Moog Problem Solver lower ball joints an a Strut Tower Brace
Thanx for remebering the STB Justin
I agree with you Larry, but I am completely rebuilding the car from the ground up, so since I have to buy new parts I want to buy they best in order not to do it twice.
Anybody recommend going with PA racing k-member and lower control arms up front?

I'm running Ground Control Coil overs and they work great. Super stiff and great for handling. I had to wait a month for them...which sucked....but it was worth the wait. Kinda pricey though

I have no problem waiting as I am in the process of gathering parts for the project. Some people have said that they do not like using coilover setups on 3rd gen's. It is interesting to see that you think otherwise.

sorry about that I was just reffering to the generalized term of coil overs. But anyways their suspension spring system is pretty damn good.
