Rear brakes again. REALLY need some help!!

I have been looking and searching for a fix for my rear brakes. I read TomP's article and the part number that he has says that it is only an acuator and not a rebuild kit. just wondering what everybody else has been doing.

rear brakes

I got the kit from GM (early rear disk brake recall kit ) it looks to have everything to rebuild them including pistons.

I haven't installed them yet but if you email me a reminder i'll get the part number off the box for you. I paid 35 dollars

Car: Yes...
Engine: Last time I checked...
Transmission: See "Engine"...
Question: How often do you use your parking brake?

It's a MUST on our cars that you use the e-brake every time you park the car. It keeps the rear calipers functioning properly AND it keeps them adjusted.

Once I got in the habit of setting the e-brake my rear brakes starting working better. I actually wear the pads out now.

Sorry not yet.

i've been side tracked with rewelding my cassis behind the steering box, win aldl and small nuisance repairs. just got my AC working too. NY broke its days above 90 record again.

possibly by next weekend. I need to redo a carb this weekend, see if my mileage gets less ridiculous
