welding stk rear control arms
Just wondering if instead of buying new arms, boxing in old ones would do the same thing. Don't know.
And what is the benifit of the tube ones compared to stk ones that has been stiffened up a little

AJ, I've got 3 sets laying around if you need to make a set and still drive the car.

Yeah, it helps some, but it's still only a piece of stamped sheet metal. It's enough for a stock 6-cyl car or something, just to help take out some of the overall chassis flex.

If you can't spare the cash for aftermarket control arms, seems to me like you wouldn't be losing anything by boxing the stockers..
My car has bolt in stiffeners in the control arms. If they aren't stock, they've certainly been there a long time.
