What makes it bounce?

I am currnetly in the process of two project vehicles, the first being a 91 RS Camaro and the second a 80 Malibu.I have been considering hydros for one of the two and I have two questions-1_what kinda of ride can I expect to get,in other words how bumpy will the road feel?......2_I know the hydro pumps are powered by its own set of batteries(two per pump I think) so how do you keep them charged, with a slow trickle charger or can they be connected to and draw from the alternator?

Unless you do extensive and COSTLY frame work, most hydrolic sestems that I have seen need to have the springs cut so short in order to fit the units into the can areas. This is what gives you such a harsh and bouncy ride. They are not for comfort or performance handling. Its just a look thing for cuising. Always been a Cholo thing here in So. Cal.
